Applied Ecology Ltd is currently actively involved in bat surveys and bat roost mitigation planning. In 2013 we have recorded barbastelle Barbastella barbastellus bat roosts in a number of barns across Cambridgeshire and Essex.

Applied Ecology Ltd successfully applied for a great crested newt mitigation (European Protected Species Mitigation) licence on behalf of a developer with planning permission to construct a residential property on a plot of land in Toft, Cambridgeshire.
